We meet twice a month, 1st and 3rd Thursday at The London Tavern

in Attleborough 2 Church Street NR17 2AH

Its members are male & female, who wish to help those less fortunate. Supporting local people with food banks, raising money at fetes & shows. Covering Attleborough & Thetford.


Attleborough Lions have made a donation to

A Little More Kindness.

Co-founders Elaine Easthope and Clair ​Fisher, bolstered by sponsor Pride Home ​Care, provide free essential items to people.

Founded during lockdown, this initiative ​combats food waste and rising living costs.

Member eligibility remains unrestricted as ​the organisation continues to rely heavily on ​donations and grants.

One of our members has been very busy knitting tiny hats for premature babies at Addenbrooks Hospital. In Amber, Green, Red & White colours which they requested.

Attleborough Lions have given

Queensway School in Thetford pictured a set of 7 Wild Tribe Books.

7 other schools in Thetford and Attleborough, have also been provided with a set of the books. The result of children reading the books is remarkable. They are organising litter picks and beach cleans, setting up


recycling stations using their persuasive writing skills to write to local businesses asking them to stop their use of single use plastic. Sir David Attenborough and King Charles who are both extremely concerned about the issue of ocean plastics and are doing everything they can to help raise awareness.

Receiving letters from two of the world’s strongest advocates for the environment was an incredible moment for school pupil Ellie who is extremely proud to be part of inspiring people working hard to help stop ocean plastic.

Lions Message In A Bottle MIAB for people with hidden medical conditions. If an ambulance turns up and you are unconsious, MIAB is kept in the door of the fridge. They can remove the bottle, and all your medication details are at hand and can be relayed to the hospital.

Your medical details kept on a form in a plastic wallet.

If found unconscious, your details can be relayed to the hospital.

Don't throw your old glasses away, Attleborough Lions have collection boxes in Attleborough & Thetford. We will send them to be recycled and used around the world.

The Lions Gleaning Hub were in action again over the weekend on two gleans at the same time. Starkey's Fruit at Norwood Park and an apple orchard near Stowmarket.

Lions rescued around 3500 kg of pears and apples. Many of these are being distributed across the UK providing nutrition to those who need it, whilst also improving our environment.
